Safnabragur - Lecture and discussion about work on a handbook in museum education

This summer, students Regína Márusdóttir and Harpa Rut Hilmarsdóttir sent out a questionnaire where information about education in museums across the country was collected. The answers will be used in the preparation of a handbook on museum education. The project is a collaboration between museum educators at the main museums and Guðrún Dröfn Whitehead, assistant professor of museology. It received a grant from the Student's Innovation Fund. At this meeting, Harpa Rut and Regína will give a lecture on the main results of the study.

Anyone interested in museum education and the opportunities it entails are welcome. Regína and Harpa are happy to answer questions from the audience.
