Tuesday Symposium: Photographer Loftur Guðmundsson [Icelandic]

Every Tuesday at lunchtime during the winter and spring months, the National Museum of Iceland hosts a variety of events, including film screenings, guided tours and lectures.

On Tuesday, 13 October, from 12:00 to 12:50, the Icelandic Film Archive and the National Museum of Iceland will jointly host a lunchtime seminar on Loftur Guðmundsson, photographer, filmmaker and one of the leading pioneers in the history of photography and film in Iceland. The seminar will explore Loftur’s wide-ranging contribution to Icelandic cultural history, as well as the latest research into his work.
