Dancing Journey through Time and Space
Advanced students at The Dance Academy journey in dance through the exhibition spaces, inspired by Pina Bausch’s works, which they modify in various ways and adapt to the space and surrounding art works. The viewer sees familiar elements from Bausch’s famous works, such as her Rite of Spring.
This winter semester, advanced students at The Dance Academy of Reykjavík have been reviewing Pina Bausch’s works in their history class. On Museum Night they journey in dance through the exhibition spaces at the Culture House, inspired by Bausch’s works, which they modify in various ways and adapt to the space and surrounding art works. The viewer sees familiar elements from Bausch’s famous works, such as her Rite of Spring.

The programme is repeated once and begins at 19:00 and 19:30.
